Telecoms' customers to receive everything free tomorrow

Imagine going to a first class restaurant to have a sumptuous meal and being served the full value and quantity of the same meal  the next day, free of charge!

This is what Globacom offers its subscribers as they will henceforth enjoy an unprecedented 15days’ of free calls, SMS and internet browsing every month courtesy of a new offer launched by the company recently in Lagos to excite and add more value and benefits to subscribers’ experience on the network.

This promo, according to Glo, is the biggest in the history of telecoms in Nigeria after the Per Second Billing system also pioneered by the same network in 2003.

At the launch attended last week by the crème of the entertainment in Nigeria most of whom are Glo brand ambassadors including Peter and Paul Okoye (P Square);  Chinedu Okolie (Flavour); Korede Bello of God win fame; Ghollywood star, Van Vicker; Hadiza Blell (Di Ja); and Nollywood star, OC Ukeje.

Globacom’s Head, Devices and Partnerships, Mr. Odafe Akerejola  said Free Tomorrow measures exactly the value of how much data and airtime a subscriber uses in a day for calls, SMS and internet browsing, upload and download in a day, and then credits the subscriber the next day with the same value of the previous day’s usage for free.

What’s more, the subscriber enjoys the privilege of using the credit on and off network as well as making international calls and using data on network.

“For instance, if a Globacom subscriber uses N500 credit in a day on calls, SMS and data, Globacom will give him back N500 credit the very next day. This means that the subscriber gets back for free the next day all the data and airtime he or she used the previous day and the free credit can be used to browse the internet, make calls or to send texts to any network. It is like going to a first class restaurant to have a sumptuous meal and being served the full value and quantity of food the next day, free of charge” Akerejola explained.

According to him, all prepaid subscribers on the Globacom network, whether young or old, rich or striving, can enjoy the benefit.

“By extension, the subscriber enjoys at least 15 days of free credit in a month on the Globacom network. With the 15 days recharge respite, the Glo subscriber is not only empowered to enjoy our services the more, but is also enabled to make substantial financial savings,” he said.
