The funeral mass of Dr. (Mrs) Marianne Abimbola Silva, the mother of veteran actress Joke Silva was held at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Lagos, Yesterday, July 30.
The actress who lost her mother on July 19, at the age of 89, was pictured at the funeral along with her husband, veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs.
Guests at the funeral mass included former Interim president,Ernest Shonekan and wife of former Ekiti state governor, Mrs Bisi Fayemi.
Dr Abimbola Silva was an intellect, and a great mother, well loved by many.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
