Social activist Yemi Adamolekun joins Andre Blaze Henshaw on My Africa podcast to talk about the ideas behind protesting and the effects it brings forth.
Adamolekun is the executive director of Enough Is Enough (EIE) Nigeria; an organization that describes it’s self as a “coalition
of individuals and youth-led organizations committed to instituting a
culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria”. EIE is involved in several projects including activism, voter education and advocacy.
In
the interview, she stated that if there was change in the country and
social amenities and infrastructures such as constant electricity were
available, she believes the Nigerian youth would be more innovative.
When pointing out things that would make the continent better, she said: “If Nigeria worked, Africa as a continent would function better”.
During
the conversation, the social influencer expresses her passion for
education, change and transparency in Nigeria. Tune in to the My Africa
