“If Nigeria worked, Africa as a continent would function better” – Yemi Adamolekun

My Africa Podcast, partnering exclusively with Pulse brings you another interesting interview with Yemi Adamolekun. On this episode, the activist shares her drive for social change.

Social activist Yemi Adamolekun joins Andre Blaze Henshaw on My Africa podcast to talk about the ideas behind protesting and the effects it brings forth.
Adamolekun is the executive director of Enough Is Enough (EIE) Nigeria; an organization that describes it’s self as a “coalition of individuals and youth-led organizations committed to instituting a culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria”. EIE is involved in several projects including activism, voter education and advocacy.

In the interview, she stated that if there was change in the country and social amenities and infrastructures such as constant electricity were available, she believes the Nigerian youth would be more innovative.
When pointing out things that would make the continent better, she said:  “If Nigeria worked, Africa as a continent would function better”.
